Heather has a way of making you feel really comfortable being honest about where you’re at. She listens and gives you a different perspective, but she never makes you feel like she’s telling you what to do. She helps you work through things and get to your own answers. I think for me, a lot of it has been realizing that I already know what I need—I just needed someone to help me see it and trust myself more.

Heather is a very special person. She meets people where they are and makes people feel comfortable being themselves. She's a naturally gifted leader who encourages growth through curiosity about the self. I'm grateful to be a part of the Lighthouse women's circle. I think it's really important to take the time to get to know new people and work on the art of conversation and exploration. It feels like real human connection is becoming more and more difficult these days, so really appreciate this opportunity.

More than anything, I'm so grateful to have a group of women to connect with who are going through their similar challenges where we can share what's going on and get support! It's a reminder that we're not alone. I have a sticky note at my computer that says "The only peace I own is mine." It's a reminder to make my own peace and joy a priority and not allow other people's stuff to disrupt what I'm trying to create for myself in my life.
